Job Summary:

The Wash Technician/Sanitizer is responsible for ensuring that all equipment, tools, and surfaces within the facility are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards. This role involves operating washing and sanitizing equipment, adhering to established procedures, and maintaining a hygienic workspace to support the overall operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all equipment, tools, and surfaces following established protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Operation of Equipment: Operate and maintain washing machines, dishwashers, and other cleaning equipment effectively and safely.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all cleaning tasks meet company standards and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and chemicals, ensuring an adequate stock level is maintained.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cleaning and sanitization processes, including checklists and compliance reports.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and effective communication regarding cleaning needs and schedules.
Training and Support: Assist in training new staff on cleaning and sanitization procedures.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sanitation or related fields is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning or sanitization role is preferred but not required.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
Must be able to work in various environmental conditions (temperature variations, exposure to cleaning chemicals).
