Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time time, highly relational, and people-savvy Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This individual brings a business development mindset (or sales background ) and will lead full-cycle recruiting while serving as a trusted relationship builder across the organization—collaborating with leadership and operations to attract top talent and

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for multiple locations
  • Build strong internal relationships with leadership, HR, and operations to develop and maintain ideal staffing plans
  • Provide an engaging, professional, and consistent candidate experience aligned with Silver Lake’s mission and values
  • Proactively source candidates through platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, local technical colleges, and networking events
  • Lead all stages of the candidate journey, from first contact to offer and onboarding
  • Design and improve candidate vetting and interview processes
  • Represent Silver Lake at recruiting events (e.g., WCTC Meet and Greets, career fairs, etc.)Manage job postings and applicant tracking system (ATS) to maintain a healthy, active candidate pipeline
  • Stay current on recruiting trends, market insights, and talent acquisition best practices

Qualifications: 

  • Proven Success in building rapport and maintaining strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • High level of people skills , emotional intelligence, and strong communication abilities
  • Business development or sales mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
  • LinkedIn Recruiter experience (preferred)
  • 3–5+ years of recruiting of recruiting experience (required)
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $70,000–$85,000+ . Compensation is never an issue for the right candidate.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • On-site at Corporate Office in Oconomowoc, WI
  • Local travel to store locations (within Waukesha County area)
  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs as needed
  • Ability to move throughout facilities and attend recruiting events
