Responsibilities:Position Summary:
Pharmacists perform the day to day responsibilities of drug distribution, computer drug and IV order processing. Perform therapeutic intervention as needed, provide drug information and consultation to other professional staff and patients, maintain patient profiles, attend cardio-pulmonary emergencies, drug therapy monitoring, and drug compounding. The Staff Pharmacist I is also responsible for directing technicians and performing inventory control. This Staff Pharmacist I will provide float coverage for all shifts in the assigned pharmacy, and will actively precept pharmacy residents, students, technicians or interns as needed by the supervisor. The position is required to rotate through the pharmacy on-call schedule in area of responsibility. This position is a Direct Care Provider as defined in Pharmacy Policy.
