We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Translator/Interpreter to provide critical language support for our CEO and various departments, ensuring seamless communication across all levels of the organization.

We are seeking a Senior Translator/Interpreter (Mandarin/English) to provide high-level linguistic and administrative support to our CEO and executive team. This senior position also plays a leadership role in mentoring other interpreters and coordinating translation schedules and priorities across departments.

Position Summary

The Senior Translator/Interpreter will serve as the primary linguistic bridge for the CEO and senior management, ensuring precise and contextually accurate translation in meetings, communications, and official documents. This individual will oversee translation quality, mentor junior interpreters, and coordinate language support scheduling to ensure smooth and timely communication throughout the organization. The role requires professionalism, cultural fluency, confidentiality, and adaptability in a fast-paced, multilingual environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate consecutive and simultaneous interpretation for executive meetings, presentations, and communications involving internal and external stakeholders.

  • Translate business documents, presentations, contracts, and communications between Mandarin and English while preserving tone, intent, and confidentiality.

  • Review, proofread, and edit translated materials to ensure quality and consistency across departments.

  • Mentor and guide junior translators/interpreters to maintain high translation standards.

  • Coordinate translation and interpretation schedules for meetings, events, and departmental needs.

  • Collaborate closely with executives and cross-functional teams to support seamless bilingual communication.

  • Maintain awareness of cultural nuances to facilitate clear understanding in business and creative contexts.

  • Assist in preparing bilingual correspondence, speeches, and public statements for the CEO.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, with exceptional proficiency in both written and spoken communication.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field; Master’s preferred.

  • 5+ years of proven translation and interpretation experience, preferably supporting executives or cross-border business operations.

  • Experience mentoring or leading translation teams or coordinating interpreter schedules is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with gaming, entertainment, or technology industry terminology.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and cross-cultural awareness.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel domestically/internationally as needed.

Salary Range

$75,000 – $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
