Job Description
The 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible foroverseeing the implementation of the nursing process and deliveringindividualized student care within the school environment. This role ensuresthat all services are provided in alignment with physician orders and inaccordance with the standards, policies, and philosophy of both the SchoolDistrict and Amergis Healthcare.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state(s) wherepracticing
+ One year of school nursing experience, preferred
+ Pediatric experience, preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ RI RN License
+ At least 1 + years of pediatric or school experience
+ Elementary School Age Student (Male - 8 years old) seizure monitoring
+ Bus Run
+ Medical Needs:
+ Episodes of regression
+ Hypoglycemia
+ Asthma
+ Epilepsy
