Job Summary: 

The Retail Store Supervisor will report to the retail store manager and year-round retail management staff and is responsible for working with the store manager to oversee the daily operations of the retail store including stocking, merchandising, end of day reporting, organization, and cleaning. The Assistant Manager will assist, at the retail manager’s discretion, in areas such as scheduling, communication of company and area events, performance improvement, and training. This individual will ensure employees observe their job duties and will provide a fun, motivated, and customer-focused environment. 

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $18.20/hr - $21.58/hr
  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2025
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Ability to communicate, motivate, and direct store employees
  • Flexible availability during the operating season
  • Knowledge of windows based programs including excel, word, etc.
  • Experience with point of sale
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs 

Job Requirements:  

  • Prior retail management experience
  • Knowledge of retail cash handling and end of day processes
  • Experience in a resort/lodging environment or employment with a national park service concessionaire

The expected pay range is $18.20/hr - $21.58/hr . This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
