Job Description

Our client, a US-based global packaging machinery and materials manufacturer, is seeking a Regional Sales Representative based in Texas to take over an established, underperforming $2 - $2.5 million, six state (TX, NM, KS, AR, LA, MS) sales territory, including the Monterrey and Reynosa areas of Mexico.

The Regional Sales Representative will:

· Work from home and travel 1-3 nights a week

· Sell solutions (machinery and materials) direct to the customer

· Drive sales territory growth while managing existing territory clients

· Create strategy around target opportunities, sales pipeline, and closing business that often includes the sale of:

o Capital equipment

o Machinery leases

o Packaging material supply

o Maintenance services

·50% account management, 50% new business development – no cold calling!

· Sell into the following markets:

o E-Commerce

o Distribution operations/3PLs

o Woodworking

o Printing

o Automotive parts distribution

o Building materials and merchandising/display manufacturers

The ideal candidate:

· BS/BA coupled with 3-5 years of selling capital equipment or engineered solutions to process related issues.

· Any of the following sales experience is desired:

o Packaging/Woodworking machinery

o Conveyors

o Material handling/robotic system/warehouse/e-commerce/workflow automation integration

· Ability to sell large ticket, capital equipment items direct to end users to improve process flow, labor reduction, and on ROI is a must .

Compensation :

·$90k - $125k

· Commissions on equipment and materials sold (uncapped and paid monthly – ability to make $200k is real !)

· Car allowance
