Job Overview:
We are seeking passionate and certified Pilates Instructors to join our team. The ideal candidates will lead Pilates classes, provide personalized instruction, and create a motivating environment for clients. Shift Pilates Body Shop as a brand is passionate and knowledgeable about Pilates. You might even call us Pilates experts, nerds, and lovers. We have one location just north of Downtown on upper Meeting St. and West Ashley We're looking to hire several badass humans as independant contractors to grow our roster of courageous and inspiring Pilates instructors!
Duties:
- Conduct group Pilates classes and private sessions
- Develop tailored exercise programs based on clients' needs and goals
- Demonstrate proper form and technique to prevent injuries
- Provide guidance on breathing techniques and relaxation
- Motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness objectives
- Maintain a clean and organized studio space
Requirements:
- Must be a comprehensively trained Pilates Instructor
- Has a desire to be of service through sharing the power of Pilates
- Has experience teaching group Pilates classes
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to exercise
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients effectively
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals
- Self-aware, reliable, down to earth, and brave
