Private Family in University City, PA Seeking a Part-Time Nanny
Position: Part-Time Live-Out Nanny
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00pm–9:00pm (20–25 hours per week) with additional hours available for date nights, weekends, and travel
Salary: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Relocation: No – local candidates only
A warm and welcoming private family located in University City, PA is looking to hire a reliable and professional Nanny to care for their toddler. Dad works from home, and Mom works outside the home 2–3 days per week. They value dependability, professionalism, and someone who will be a long-term fit.
Children: One toddler (attends daycare within walking distance, home by 5:00pm daily)
Home Size: Private residence
Pets: None
Household Staff: None
Provide attentive care for the toddler during after-school/evening hours
Engage in play, reading, and age-appropriate activities
Handle all childcare-related tasks including child’s laundry and tidying play areas
Assist with mealtime, bath time, and bedtime routines
Communicate with parents about the child’s day and any concerns
(Optional) Additional hours for meal prep, light household organization, and errands if desired
The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and experienced with toddlers. They should be nurturing, patient, and capable of maintaining a structured evening routine. A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and flexibility for extra hours when needed are highly valued.
Prior experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role
Experience with infants and toddlers strongly preferred
Excellent references
Legal to work in the United States
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Reliable transportation to and from the family’s home
Willingness to travel occasionally with the family is a plus
