JOB ID 22502 – Medical Receptionist

Location: Tampa, 33614 – This position is onsite

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Type: Contract-to-hire

Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Job description:

1. Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional front office experience.
2. Manage patient intake including check-in, scheduling consultations and follow-ups, and coordinating referrals.
3. Handle financial transactions such as collecting co-pays, processing balances, and issuing receipts.
4. Verify insurance coverage, obtain necessary authorizations, and maintain accurate records in the EHR system.
5. Support communication between patients and clinical staff, assist with check-out, phone coverage, and general administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Must have (1)+ years of medical office experience
• Must be familiar with EHR systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check required
• Drug screening required
