Job Description
Marketing Copywriter needs 3-5 years of experience in copywriting, marketing, or advancement communications, preferably within higher education or the nonprofit sector.
Marketing Copywriter requires:
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a focus on persuasive, audience-centered messaging.
- Strong ability to create storytelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Understands fundraising principles, donor psychology, and alumni engagement.
- Experience crafting content for multi-channel campaigns (print, email, web, and social media).
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud, or Ellucian) and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Emma).
- Basic knowledge of SEO and digital content optimization.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
Marketing Copywriter duties:
