IP Patent Paralegal

90-120K, Hybrid

Liberty Personnel is partnered with a TOP 200 AM Law Firm seeking an IP Patent Paralegal to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications, including utility, design, and provisional patents.
Perform patent searches and analysis, including prior art searches and database research.
Prepare legal documents, including responses to office actions, amendments, declarations, and other filings with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and foreign patent offices.
Maintain and manage patent docketing systems to track application deadlines and prosecution timelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Paralegal certification is a plus.
2+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on intellectual property, particularly patents.
Strong knowledge of patent prosecution procedures and familiarity with USPTO regulations.
Proficient in patent database systems and docketing software.
