Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for an entry-level Interior Designer. This opportunity is available in any of the following office locations: Bloomington, MN; Dallas, TX; or Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing unified design concepts by assisting mid & senior level team members with the interior design process and document development
• Coordinating with multi-disciplinary in-house team members and sub-consultant
• Researching, evaluating, and selecting furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), materials and finishes
• Assisting with scheduling vendor meetings
• Maintaining the resource library
• Other tasks as assigned.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree or higher in architecture, interior architecture, or interior design from a CIDA, NAAB, or similar accredited university.

The ideal candidate will have any/all the following:

• Previous related internship experience in interior design
• Experience with design for commercial, aviation, institutional, governmental and/or public space projects
• Strong proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience assisting in the development of interiors projects from programming to completion.

Salary Range: $53,000 to $60,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
