Offshore in Montauk, NY is looking for housekeepers to join our team. We are located on 71 S Emerson. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable.
Position Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves cleaning guest rooms, replenishing amenities, attending to guest requests, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms and common areas following hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean bathrooms.
- Replace guest amenities and supplies as needed (e.g., soap, shampoo, towels).
- Empty trash cans and restock housekeeping carts at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Handle lost and found items appropriately and report valuables to the supervisor.
- Maintain security and confidentiality of all guest information and hotel operations.
- Report any damage or missing items in rooms to the supervisor.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and additional duties as assigned.
- Uphold the hotel’s standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and hospitality.
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar setting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Good physical stamina: ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent service.
- Friendly attitude and professional appearance.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Work Conditions:
- Physically demanding; frequent standing, bending, lifting.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals (protective equipment provided).
- Fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
