Registered Nurse PRN Salary: $50/per visit Schedule: Per-diem (as needed) Location: Maumee, Ohio (surrounding area) Requirements of the Hospice RN role: * Licensed RN in state of practice * A minimum of 1 year of Clinical experience * Valid Drivers License and Auto insurance Coverage * Reliable transportation: Willing to travel About the RN role: * Provide on-call services, and complete skilled visits if/when needed. * Coordinate hospice care by working with other team members as well as with the patient's family members to ensure needs are met. * Coordinates services, and provides frequent updates on plan of care and any changes in condition. * Assist reinforcement of patient and family education regarding end-of-life care. * Participate in IDG and case conferences when needed * Assume responsibility for personal and vocational growth and development through active participation in nursing organizations and participating in in-service programs and other on-the-job learning. * Keep the RNCM informed of changes noted during the process. * Participate in self-development by practicing further education, workshops, and conferences, active in professional and related organizational meetings, and individual research reading.
