Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Austin, Texas is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
The position is responsible for the agronomics to produce playing conditions outlined in the course’s business plan. The superintendent will attract and develop talent at all levels of golf course maintenance to create a highly functional team. This individual will also focus on the business of agronomy, technology, continuing education and long-term strategic planning.
Requirements:
Associate degree in Turfgrass Management or similar field.
5+ years turf grass management experience required.
Advanced knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices with the ability to teach others.
A strong business aptitude and passion for the golf business.
Current (in state applicants) or ability to obtain state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator within 90 days.
Compensation:
$90,000 – $105,000 per year.
