As an Estimator at Actalent, you’ll play a key role in shaping construction projects across energy, healthcare, commercial, education, and hospitality sectors nationwide. 🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Create and review scope/design documentation for potential projects, including KMZ files, Transmission Asset Mapping Interface files, and engineering drawings.
- Develop substation and transmission line estimates at the project level.
- Review supplemental support estimates (Access Roads, Forestry, SCADA/IT, Testing, Real Estate, Environmental, Revenue Metering).
- Coordinate with scoping, estimating, engineering, and project teams.
- Analyze actuals vs. estimates and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Attend regional meetings with sponsors and stakeholders to review open estimates.
- Build project schedule timelines with correct logic for all estimate types.
🎯 What You Bring
- Experience in transmission line or substation estimating.
- Proficiency in estimating software and utility project estimation.
- Strong consulting and communication skills.
- Familiarity with supplemental support estimates and project management principles.
- Understanding of environmental, real estate, and revenue metering considerations.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
