Job Description

**Responsibilities** In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Staff Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients undergoing ambulatory services procedures. This position effectively interacts with patients, significant others, families, and healthcare team members in order to establish effective interpersonal interactions while maintaining standards of professional nursing. When called upon, the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement, monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program. \#RN@DH **Qualifications** **Requirements:** + One (1) year of previous clinical experience as an Endoscopy Nurse within the past three (3) years in an acute care hospital or clinic setting. + Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing preferred. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. **Licensure:** + Current California licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) + Current certification in Basic Life Support (CT BLS) for healthcare providers by American Heart Association. + Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (CT ACLS) for healthcare providers byAmerican Heart Association. **Overview** About Sequoia Hospital - Hello Humankindness Dignity Health Sequoia Hospital is an accredited, not-for-profit community hospital providing innovative and exceptional health care for generations of Bay Area residents.
