Our FInancial client is seeking a freelance Digital Content Writer/Manager to join their team through March 2026. This is a hybrid role where candidates must be able to work onsite (two days a week) in Plymouth, MI. This Digital Content Manager will work 40 hrs/week starting asap.

The Digital Content Writer/Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital content strategies for the email and web presence. This role requires a strategic thinker who can create compelling content while ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute content strategies for various digital platforms, including websites and email marketing.
• Manage the content management system (CMS) to ensure all digital content is up to date and optimized for search engines.
• Create, edit, and publish high-quality copy and multimedia content that resonates with target audiences.
• Publishing new content and scheduling future updates to be released at specific times.
• Utilizing CMS templates and features to design and arrange website pages according to brand guidelines.
• Uploading, resizing, and optimizing images for the website within the CMS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Writing, ideally in a financial setting.
• Proven experience in digital content management and copywriting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience in planning and executing digital campaigns across multiple channels.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
