Your mission

As the City Operations Manager for Phoenix, you will be instrumental in launching and managing Bliq’s driverless ride-hailing service in the region. Your role encompasses establishing operational frameworks, ensuring fleet efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless and safe mobility experience.

What You’ll Do

• Operational Setup : Establish and manage the local operations hub, including facilities for vehicle storage, maintenance, and staff coordination.
• Supplier Coordination:  Manage vehicle delivery, hardware retrofit and setup
• Fleet Management : Oversee vehicle cleaning, charging, and routine maintenance schedules to ensure optimal fleet performance.
• Incident Response : Act as the first responder for any on-ground incidents or technical malfunctions, ensuring swift resolution and minimal service disruption.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Liaise with central tech and marketing teams in Berlin to align local operations with global strategies and product developments.
• Regulatory Compliance : Engage with local regulators and insurance entities to ensure all operations meet legal and safety standards.
• Performance Monitoring : Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement.

Your profile

• Experience : Proven track record in fast-paced operational roles, preferably within the mobility or logistics sectors.
• Legal Eligibility : Possession of a valid U.S. passport or work visa.
• Language Skills : Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• Work Schedule : Our tech team works in Berlin, Germany. You must be willing to align your working schedule to accommodate for efficient communication with teams in the Berlin time zone as far as required.
• Independence : Highly self-motivated and capable of operating autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with the mobility industry, including an understanding of ridedynamics and driverless vehicle technologies.
• Regulatory Acumen : Experience in dealing with local regulatory bodies and insurance processes is advantageous.
