Join 18 Wheels USA, a company that invests in our drivers and our fleet. We are seeking professional CDL A drivers to run the Eastern Seaboard in brand new Freightliner Cascadias. Whether you're a recent graduate from a qualified CDL school or a seasoned veteran, we have a place for you on our team.
Compensation & Home Time:
Pay: $0.55 - $0.65 per mile, based on your experience.
Home Time: Get home every two weeks for a quality reset.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a new Freightliner Cascadia tractor-trailer, primarily hauling dry van freight.
Efficiently manage drop and hook assignments to maximize your miles and earning potential.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic logs (ELD).
Communicate professionally and effectively with dispatch.
Qualifications:
Must-Have for All Applicants:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Must be at least 21 years of age
Reasonably clean MVR and background
Demonstrate good job stability over the past 5 years
For Recent Graduates:
Must have graduated from an accredited CDL A school with 120+ hours of training. No experience required with a qualifying certificate.
Equipment & Freight:
Tractor: Drive a brand new Freightliner Cascadia, equipped for comfort and reliability.
Freight Type: 100% No-Touch, Dry Van freight, with a high percentage of drop and hook.
Routes: Consistent regional routes running up and down the Eastern Seaboard.
