Job Description

Zany Graze in Lewiston, Idaho, is seeking an experienced Bar Manager. The successful applicant will be outgoing and personable, professional, reliable, and willing and able to maintain Happy Day's high standards of service excellence. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, high organizational skills, and ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume environment. 

You will have at least 5 years of prior bar management experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant which will have included inventory management, recipe development, sales and marketing, and team management experience. 

• You will be responsible for hiring and managing a staff who will be properly trained to mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, interact professionally with customers, make recommendations, and maintain current knowledge of beer, wine, and mixed drinks. You will deal appropriately with customer concerns and develop customer loyalty. 
• We are fully committed to customer safety, so you must pass the Idaho TIPS exam as well as the Idaho Food Safety Exam. You will set and maintain safe standards in serving alcohol and in food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation at all times. 
• You will manage the bar logistics to ensure profitability, including maintaining inventory and making orders, monitoring and analyzing costs vs. sales, and working with budgets.
• You will work with our corporate marketing department to promote programs you develop to drive sales, including bar food menus, specialty drinks, and to-go canned cocktails, crowlers, and growlers. 
• You will be working with Arcadius, BeerSaver, Jolt, and Toast, so prior experience with these programs is preferred.  
• Other duties as assigned.
